Abstract:This paper describes a method of generating four SPWM modulated waves based on DDS technology, and designs a motor drive circuit based on the modulated waves. The design scheme includes a signal generator based on five DDS chips,which produces SPWM modulated waves with a four-way phase difference of 90°,and a high frequency inverter push-pull drive circuit with dead zone. This driving circuit can enable the ultrasonic motor to achieve smooth forward rotation、reverse、speed regulation and stop under the condition of open ring. At present,ultrasonic motor drivers are very popular in the scientific and industrial fields. In order to be able to be practical application,good performance of the drive design is particularly important. The signal generation part of the driving circuit designed in this paper adopts pure hardware construction, which reduces the complexity of calculation. the push-pull part is based on strong theory and practice, which can realize the requirements of the motor to the driver.
