In order to adapt to the modernization and intensive development of weather forecast business at prefectural and municipal levels and meet the new needs of forecasting service personnel for the forecasting platform, the database management technology is applied. The Jiuquan weather forecast business platform is developed and completed by using the framework of C/S (client/server) and B/S (browser/server), Visual Basic 6.0 and C # programming languages. The platform integrates the query and analysis of meteorological basic data and forecast product information, and the visualization display of meteorological data. It realizes the query and analysis of the actual and historical meteorological data of Jiuquan automatic weather station, the query and retrieval of various forecast products and the visualization display of numerical data. It can classify and query and analyze the forecast quality of cities and towns in Jiuquan. The construction of the platform standardizes the work flow of weather forecasting business and improves the work efficiency of forecasters.
